Customer Testimonials
Sandra M. — Fleetwood, Full Roof Replacement
After a brutal winter left our roof with serious damage, we called On Time Roofing and had an estimate within 24 hours. The crew arrived exactly when scheduled and completed our full replacement in two days. They protected our landscaping and cleaned up every shingle scrap and nail before they left. I cannot believe how stress-free the whole process was — I would recommend them to every homeowner in Fleetwood without hesitation.
David R. — South Side, Emergency Leak Repair
A heavy rainstorm caused a leak that was dripping into our second-floor bedroom on a Sunday night. On Time Roofing picked up the phone and had someone at our house the next morning before I even got to work. The technician found the source quickly, explained exactly what needed to be done, and fixed it the same day. Pricing was completely transparent — no surprise charges on the invoice. This is the kind of contractor you want to have in your contacts.
Maria T. — East Side, Shingle Replacement and Ventilation Upgrade
We hired On Time Roofing to replace aging asphalt shingles and improve attic ventilation, which had been causing ice dams every winter for years. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, and took time to walk us through the ventilation solution before starting work. Since the project was completed, we have had two full winters with zero ice dam problems. The quality of the materials and the installation is evident — this roof looks and performs better than anything we have had on this house.
James L. — Fulton Park, Gutter Installation
On Time Roofing installed seamless gutters on our 1940s colonial and did a fantastic job matching them to the roofline. The estimator measured carefully and explained the pitch adjustments needed to handle our yard’s drainage patterns. Installation was done in one day and the cleanup afterward was spotless. Three seasons later, the gutters are performing perfectly and we have had no water intrusion issues near the foundation. Great value and even better workmanship.
Patricia O. — Mount Vernon Heights, Flat Roof Replacement
Our two-family home had a failing flat roof that other contractors quoted us on without even inspecting the decking underneath. On Time Roofing did a thorough inspection, found two sections of rotted decking, and included the repair in a fair written estimate before any work began. The team was respectful of our tenants and worked efficiently to minimize disruption. The new modified bitumen roof has been watertight through every storm since installation. Honest, professional, and worth every dollar.
Carlos V. — Hartley Park, Storm Damage Assessment and Repair
After a wind event took several shingles off our roof, I was nervous about dealing with insurance and finding a reliable contractor at the same time. On Time Roofing helped walk us through the documentation process and worked directly with our insurance adjuster. The repair was completed quickly and the crew matched the existing shingles almost perfectly. My neighbors have since asked me for the referral — that is the best endorsement I can give.
Rebecca H. — Chester Heights, Annual Roof Inspection
I schedule annual inspections with On Time Roofing as part of maintaining our older home, and they consistently deliver a thorough written report with photos. This year they caught minor flashing wear around the chimney that could have become a significant leak within a season. The repair was affordable and completed on the same visit. Preventative maintenance with a contractor you trust is invaluable — On Time Roofing has saved us from expensive surprises more than once.
Thomas and Angela B. — South Fulton Park, Full Tear-Off and Replacement
We got three estimates for a full tear-off and replacement on our ranch home and chose On Time Roofing because they were the only contractor who explained every line item in the quote. The project started on the agreed date, the dumpster was placed without damaging our driveway, and the new GAF shingles look incredible. The project manager checked in each afternoon to review progress with us. We feel genuinely good about the investment we made and the company we chose.

Our Ratings Across Review Platforms
On Time Roofing maintains a 4.9-star rating on Google, supported by more than 100 reviews from verified customers across Mount Vernon and surrounding Westchester communities. We are also proud of our standing with the Better Business Bureau and our consistent presence on Yelp, where homeowners share detailed accounts of their project experiences.
When choosing a roofing contractor in Mount Vernon, verified reviews are one of the most reliable tools available to you. Look for patterns across multiple platforms rather than relying on a single source. Pay attention to how contractors respond to negative feedback — a professional company addresses concerns directly and works to resolve them. High review volume over several years is also a meaningful indicator of consistency, not just isolated excellent performance.
Be cautious of contractors with very few reviews, reviews concentrated in a short window, or no presence on third-party platforms. Legitimate roofing companies in Mount Vernon welcome scrutiny because their track record speaks for itself. On Time Roofing encourages every customer to read our reviews, ask questions, and make an informed hiring decision.

Questions About Our Work and Reputation
How can I verify that On Time Roofing’s reviews are genuine?
Our reviews are posted on Google, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau — all third-party platforms that do not allow businesses to edit or delete customer feedback. You can cross-reference our ratings across all three platforms and read the full text of individual reviews to assess their authenticity. We also encourage prospective customers to ask us directly for references from past Mount Vernon projects.
What does On Time Roofing’s workmanship warranty cover?
Our workmanship warranty covers installation defects and labor-related issues for a defined period after project completion. This is separate from the manufacturer’s material warranty, which covers shingles and roofing products according to the specific product chosen. During your estimate, we explain both warranties in writing so you know exactly what is covered and for how long before you sign anything.
What happens if I have a problem after my roof is installed?
Contact us directly by phone and we will schedule an inspection as quickly as possible. If the issue is related to our installation, we will repair it at no charge under the terms of our workmanship warranty. We take post-project concerns seriously and respond to them with the same urgency we bring to new projects. Our goal is to resolve any issue promptly and leave you confident in your roof.
Is On Time Roofing properly licensed and insured in New York?
Yes. On Time Roofing carries full general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage, and operates in compliance with Westchester County and New York State licensing requirements. We are happy to provide proof of insurance and licensing credentials before any work begins. Never hire a roofing contractor who hesitates to produce these documents — it protects both the homeowner and the workers on your property.
Does On Time Roofing guarantee that projects will be completed on time?
We provide a realistic project timeline at the start of every job and communicate proactively if weather or unforeseen structural conditions require an adjustment. Our name reflects our commitment — we do not overbook crews or make promises we cannot keep. The vast majority of our projects are completed on schedule, and our customers consistently cite our punctuality as a defining reason they recommend us to neighbors and family members.
Can I leave a review after my project is completed?
Absolutely, and we sincerely appreciate it. Honest reviews from Mount Vernon homeowners help other residents make informed decisions when choosing a roofing contractor. After your project is complete, we will follow up to ensure you are fully satisfied and to make it easy for you to share your experience on Google or Yelp. Your feedback also helps our team continue to improve with every job we take on.
